New Voting Machine Demo!

at the Bergen hipcil office in Hackensack.

Sign up to watch a demonstration

of the new voting machines for the upcoming November election!

The Superintendent of Elections will demonstrate the voting process including the ballot marking device’s features, including contrast, zoom and the ATI equipment for the vision impaired.

The demo will take place

on August 20th at 2pm at the Bergen hipcil office in Hackensack.

The “In It to Win It” Summer Calendar Raffle is better than ever in 2024!

You can win money and support hipcil at the same time.
One ticket buys you 66 chances to win a prize.
The more tickets you buy, the more chances you have to win!

There is a drawing every Friday starting May 31st and continuing in June, July & August!

Winners are drawn 66 times during the summer.
Each day marked on the calendar lists a different cash prize.
If you win one day, your ticket is re-entered into the raffle for more chances to win again!
It’s not unusual to win more than once!

The proceeds of the “In It to Win It” Summer Calendar Raffle will support the Independent Living programs and advocacy efforts that hipcil provides to the community.

Tickets and payments must be received at hipcil by Wednesday, May 29th.

Names of winning ticket holders will be posted every Friday on our website (www.hipcil.org) by 3 p.m. Winners will also be notified by mail.

The Annual Membership Meeting.

Join hipcil’s Board of Trustees, staff, consumers, and friends over festive refreshments and demonstrate your support of the concept of Independent Living. Learn about our accomplishments over the past year and meet all the staff from Bergen and Hudson hipcil who have made our Centers for Independent Living so successful.

Everyone is welcome; please RSVP to reserve your spot.

We hope you will renew your membership by using the enclosed form if you have not already done so to continue receiving all the benefits that hipcil has to offer.

Transportation is limited. The deadline for transportation is Thursday, October 26th and is $5 for eligible consumers.
